She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Merlin Schendel and Jeannine Schendel; and her brother Mark Schendel. She is survived by: her husband John Rockwood; her children, Daniel Rockwood (Ericka), Henry and Katie Milcic (Matt); her brother Stephen Schendel (Debbie) of Dallas, Oregon.; and her grandson Henry.
