It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert E. Lee Short of Chenoa, Illinois, born in Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert E. Lee and Faye L. Light Short. He is survived by : his wife Robyn Gates; his children, Ashley Short (Josh Abbott) of Tucson, AZ, Phillip Short (Mary-Kate) of Naperville, IL and Mitchell Short of Peoria, IL; his stepsons, Steven, Troy and Andrew Kaskavage; and his siblings, Kelly White (Ralph) of Oglesby, IL and Scott Short (Rachel Miller) of Odell, IL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
