It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Dean Jackson (Chestnut, Illinois), born in Mount Pulaski, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Abner Jackson and Elizabeth Jackson (Ophardt); his son Hal Douglas Jackson; his grandson Douglas Letterle; and his brothers, James and Lester.

He is survived by : his wife Norma Lee Spillman; his daughter Joni Bauer (Dave) of Mt. Pulaski; and his brothers, Earl and George Jackson.
