He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles W. Sr. Spivey and Eileen S. Spivey; his brother Edward Joseph Spivey; and his great-niece Katie Marie Patrick. He is survived by : his sisters, Diana Siebersma (Dennis) of Coal City and Debbie Morris (Brian) of Byron Center, MI.; his nephew Bobby Harris (Ashley) of Alsip, IL.; and his niece Shannon Patrick (Rick) of Coal City.
