With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Aileen Mae Christiansen (Chicago, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Aileen left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Waarich and Mary Waarich (Flanagan); her husband Don; and her siblings, Shirley Knoell of Servicemen's Center, Herman Waarich Jr. and Marilynn Selke.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Christiansen of New Boston, NH, Todd (Gerri Christiansen), Brian (Janet Christiansen), Cheryl (Russell Shiebler) and Wayde (Penny Christiansen). She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren; her 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Muzyka & Son Funeral Home (5776 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60630). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Montrose Cemetery (5400 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60630).
