We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Alvina Callahan (Des Plaines, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kobos and Frances Kobos; her husbands, Victor E. Jendro, George F. Long and James T. Callahan; her brother Walter J. Kobos; her sons, David P. Long and Dennis G. Long; and her daughters-in-law, Sharman Callahan, Christine Long and Marsha Long.

She is survived by: her brother Arthur C. Kobos; and her children, Janice Long and Michael Callahan (Mary Alice). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Oehler Funeral Home (2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In her memory, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
