She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Richard Burnstine; and her brothers, Philip Bernstein (Rita) and Frank Bernstein (Marcia). She is survived by: her children, Phil Burnstine, Debbie Walt (Gary), Jean Burnstine (Tim Kisley) and Liz Burnstine (Linda Kane); and her grandchildren, Dan Burnstine (Meghan), Ben Walt (Alisha), Zach Kisley (Lauren Bontemps), Adam Walt (Maddy), Gigi of Caleb, Lily, Ada and Sean.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
