He is survived by: his stepchild Glen Svagdis (Jan); his grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, James Jr., Jesse, Kyle, Elisa, Emily, Jordan, Santino, Gabriella and Natalie; his great grandchild Nikki Grey; his goddaughter Danielle Giegoldt; and his sister Patricia Hoover (Bernard "Bun") of Kansas.
