Barbara A. Rogers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara A. Rogers of Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Rasinski and Millie; and her husband Edward Joseph Rogers. She is survived by: her children, Carol (Ken Swinnerton), Eileen, Joyce Thompson (Scott MacLauchlin), Paul (Kate) and Mark (Edlyn Castil); her grandchildren, Grace, Sam Swinnerton, April (Chris Keckler), Helen, Hannah Novak, Katie (Ben Hammer), Clare (Jeff Bogen), Ellen (Michael Reynders), Stanley Rogers, Audrey Loomis, Nate Rogers and Caitlynn Castil (Tyler Muench); her great grandchildren, Oliver Novak, Jillian, David, Eli Hammer, Blaise, Edie Bogen, Rose, Aurelia, Maris and Rush Reynders; her siblings-in-law, Patricia Lucas (late Leo), Barbara Rasinski (late Jimmy) and Larry Knapp (late Jeanne); and her caregiver Gina Palese. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. William Catholic Church (2600 N Sayre Ave, Chicago, IL 60707).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Barbara's honor to the Alzheimer's Association http://www.alz.org.
