She was predeceased by: her husband Emmanuel; and her siblings, Stathoula Kalogeros (late Panagioti), Maria Mihael (late George), Georgia Kachos (late Tom), Lambrini Psofemes (late Kosta), Kosta Christakes (late Bertha), George Christakis (late Anastasia), Niki Bouzos (late Taki) and Panagiotis Christakes.

She is survived by: her children, Maria Zervos (John Best), George Zervos (Denise), Christine DeKosta (Jimmy), Elias, Alaina, Victoria, Alexis, Peter, Stavroula and Averi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (2727 W Winona St, Chicago, IL 60625). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076).
