She was predeceased by: her parents, Josie Robertson and Edgar Wilson; and her siblings, Pearlina Robertson, James Banks and Casandra Ross.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Puryear; her son Vegan K. Fleming; her stepsons, Darren Nichols (Marie) and Richard Puryear, Jr.; her sibling's children, Darryl Robertson (Sharon), Dewayne Ross, Wilon Ross (Crystal), Mark Ross (Camry) and Bonita Beans-Blanco Salas; her sisters-in-law, Ida "Jean" Puryear and Linda Puryear; and her friend Lois Travillion. She is also survived by relatives, classmates and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (837 E 7th St, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
