With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol M. Ascher of Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Lauri Ascher-Stotter (Tom Stotter). She is survived by: her children, Susan Peterman (Scott), Jake, Sophie Stotter, Rachel and Josh Peterman; and also Stan Ascher (Merle). She is also survived by mother to her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
