He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Levy; his parents, Yetta Levy and Irving Levy; and his sister Virginia Friedman. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Doane, Michael Ira Levy (Mercedes) and Robert Levy (Geraldine); his grandchildren, Saul Doane (Sara), Janna Doane, Benjamin, Joshua, Tali and Daniel Levy; his great grandchild James Doane; and his siblings, Howard Levy (late Barbara) and Maureen Levy.
