She was predeceased by : her husbands, Adam "Dan" Ostrowski and Edward J. Madura, Jr.; and her sibling Thomas Michno. She is survived by : her children, Dan Ostrowski (Annamarie), Dave Ostrowski (Stacy), Sue Chrzastowski (Mark) and Al Ostrowski (Yvette Morales); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Samantha, Steven, Adam, Sammy, Ashley, Lauren, Lindsey, Johnny, Kerrielle, Marissa, Ben and Trevor; and her sister Carol (late John Cerami).

The lying in state was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Juliana Church (7201 N Oketo Ave, Chicago, IL 60631). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
