He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judi Karlen; his children, Micah (Julie), Brendan (Tonya), Erin Meier (Marco), Ryan Gardner (Helena), Abigail Athanasopoulos (Vasilios), Tyler Gardner (Stephanie) and Sarah Yelton (Brad); and his grandchildren, Miller, Rhys, Merritt, Ebem, Elyas, Nolan, Anders, Will, Nikos, Sevi, Ada and Violet.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Shalom Memorial Park (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
