She is survived by: her children, Donna Ellwood (Brian), Dawn Pepsnik (Ed Figlewicz) and Douglas Pepsnik; her grandchildren, Breanne Mears (Brendan), Jillian Daniele (Andrew), Allisan Ellwood, Donald Pepsnik and Mary Dorothy Pepsnik; and her great grandchild Bennett Mears.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Stroke Association at stroke.org.
