Dorothy Palumbo Forst Obituary
Dorothy Palumbo Forst was born on July 5, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Marie (nee Svenson) Fordon. Dorothy lived most of her life in Chicago prior to moving to Roselle. She died Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
Dorothy is survived by her children Virginia "Ginger" Cantore, Robert M. (Sandra) Palumbo and Dolores "Lori" Palumbo; her nine grandchildren Andrew Scott, Elizabeth (Brandon Bassir) Cantore, Domenica (Brent) Cairns, Antonina Palumbo, Jennifer (Chris) Jackson, Amy (John) Galarza, Tony Palumbo, Jessica (Don) Erickson and Stephen (Jessica) Palumbo; her 16 great-grandchildren Lula, Olive, Camden, Maisey, Gia, Luciana, Joseph, Jadyn, Brooklyn, Gianna, Michael, Isabella, Adelyn, Henrik, Reagan and Anthony; her four great great-grandchildren Eli, Ivy, Nora and Amelia; and her sister Arlene Fordon.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Anthony Palumbo and Edmond Forst; her sons Anthony J. and William W. Palumbo; her parents as well as her brothers Norman, Werner and Robert.
Visitation Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am at the Chapel of St. John the Beloved at the Lutheran Home 800 W. Oakton Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
