It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elisabeth Banyai (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Joseph Banyai; her parents, Imre Lakatos and Jusztina Peter Lakatos; and her siblings, Vilma Varga (Sandor) and Imre Lakatos.

She is survived by: her son Joseph Alex Banyai (Eva); and her sibling's children, Sandor, Karoly Varga, Imre and Ilona Lakatos.
