He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wojciech Bryja and Maria Bryja; his wife Julia Bryja; his children, Irena Waksmański (Paweł), Mieczysław Bryja, Maria Sołtys (Kazimierz), Anna Roach (James), Danuta Osinski and Cecylia Turkstra (Daniel); his grandchildren, Natalie, Camila, Deryk, Kris, Eryk, Magdalena, Arthur, Lucas, Jessica, Jimmy, Sara, Alexander, Dominic, Emily and John; his sisters, Katherine Bartkus (John), Mary Ciezczak (Walter), Angela Michonski (John) and Anna Bizub; and also Olivia. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
