He is survived by: his wife Consuelo "Connie" Silva Mendez; his children, Rick Mendez (Laura), Randy Mendez (Laura), Sylvia Juarez (Steve), Linda Mendez (Robert Ramirez) and Laura Trujillo (Humberto); his grandchildren, Ray, Stevie, Melissa, Mark, Frank, David, Krystal, Anthony, Joey, Kristofer, Nick, Ryan, Xiomara, Michael, Justin, Brandon, Demiries, Ricky and Jeneé; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Sergio, Angelina, Manny, Saul, Noah, Xavier, Jayden, Mila, Oliver, Harlow, Mason, Asher, Carlina, Ayla and Eleanor; his great great grandchild Olivia; and his siblings, Leandra, Beatrice, Celestine, Guadalupe, Pedro, Lydia, George, Olivia and Emiliano.
