He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Whealan; his children, Edward Whealan and Barbara Dobney; and his brother James Whealan (Anne). He is survived by: his children, Kelly George (Brent), Kerry Dowling (Douglas), Patrick Whealan (Natalie) and Erin Whealan (Richard Mayorga); his grandchildren, Emmett, Kiernan, Brennan, Riley, Caitlin, Ryan, Edward, Jake, Miles, Sydney, Dion, Scott and Christopher (Victoria); and his sisters, Patricia Hartigan (late Terry), Mary Burd (late Andy) and Susan Adorney (Mark).
