In the sacred silence of farewell, Erin is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Erin's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Fitzpatrick and Christine Fitzpatrick; and her brother Kevin Fitzpatrick. She is survived by: her husband William Christopher Behnke; her children, Greta Larrabee-Behnke (Julia Larrabee-Behnke), William Christopher Behnke Jr. and Meghan Loreto Behnke; and her sisters, Lisa Frey and Meghan Fitzpatrick-O'Brien. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Name Cathedral (735 N State St, Chicago, IL 60654). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Erin's name to causes close to her heart, most especially the Portsmouth Abbey School, the Alzheimer's Association, and the Lincoln Park Zoo.
