We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2022, at the age of 78, Evelyn Jean Spivey in Chicago, Illinois, born in Samantha, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lela Wells and Curtis Wells; and her siblings, Betty, Doretha, Robert Lee, Joe Nathan, Donald, Felton and Willie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon and Sandra; her grandsons, Brandon and Zachary; and her siblings, Shirley Jackson, Patricia Avery (Kelvin), Marion Davis and James Wells (Pat). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
During the pandemic, one of Evelyn's favorite activities was to call, family, friends and members of the church and offer them a word of encouragement.
