He was predeceased by: his wife Karoline; his parents, Stanislaw and Tekla; and his siblings, Ted Mizera and Gena Numsen.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Christine), Mark (Lori) and Robert (Jen); and his great grandchildren, Daniel, James and Luke.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malec & Sons Funeral Home (6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A prayer was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Priscilla Catholic Church (6949 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60656).
