He is survived by: his siblings, Rita Swann (Dennis), Delores (late Charles), John Peterson, Barbara Peterson, Walter Peterson (late Janette), Patrick Peterson and Rosemary Johnson (late Elton); and his extended Akins. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McInerney Central Chapel (4635 S Wallace St, Chicago, IL 60609). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
