It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Giovanna Sampognaro (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on May 30, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Pietro; her children, Vincenzo Sampognaro (Angela), Francesca Sampognaro and Salvatore Sampognaro (Allie); her parents, Salvatore Intile and Consiglia Intile; her grandchildren, Giovanna S., Pietro L., Chiara Sampagnaro and Samantha Sampagnaro; her siblings, Maria Sampognaro (Giuseppe), Giuseppa Neglia (late Giovanni), Antonino Intile (Enza), Giovanni Intile (Rosaria), Mario Intile (Concetta) and Rosa Concialdi (Vincenzo); and her child God Mausoleum. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
