We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2024, Harvey M. Shaps of Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma; his brother Julian Shaps (late Dottie); his nephew Scott Shaps; and his cousin Arnold Chick (Arlene). He is survived by: his children, Bradley Shaps and Linda Shaps Shanin (Martin Shanin); his grandchildren, Erica Shaps (Michael Doron), Jackie Shaps (Greg Sanders) and Jeff Shanin (Jamie Erickson Shanin); his great grandchild Morgan Shanin; his nephews, Mark, Robert, Michael and Larry; his niece Beth Liebman; and his cousins, Joanne Vidinsky (Alan) and Robert Chick (Boni Bryant).
