She is survived by: her parents, David Hook and Patricia Hook; her sister Tiffany VandeZande (Todd); and her nieces, Riah and Brynn VandeZande. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and special cousins.
Most recently Heather owned and operated Ladies Workout Express in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood, which was forced to close due to Covid.
