We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2024, at the age of 97, Helen Jane Caflisch of Chicago, Illinois, born in Negaunee, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Helen Jane may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Caflisch; and her siblings, Lawrence Robillard, Adeline Rector, Clarence and Wilbert Rasmussen.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Kalck (Gustavo Oroza); her extended family, Narda and Al Oroza; and her friend Joyce Burns. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's research or the World Central Kitchen would be appreciated.
