It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homan Buchanan of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Buchanan and Lula Mae Davis; and his siblings, Pete Davis, Earl Davis, Lonell Davis of Marget Buchanan, W. J, Alice Buchanan, Herman Buchanan, Jr. and Terry Buchanan.
He is survived by: his husband George Euring, III; his pet Indy; his siblings, Della Keys, Larry Buchanan and C. L. Buchanan; his mother-in-law Kay Holland; his sister-in-law Krystal Stillman; his nephew Jaxon Stillman; and his close friends, Sandra Calloway, Gloria, Jamar Willis and Raymond Dailey. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Drake and Son Funeral Home (5303 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625). A prayer was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
