He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Blanca I. Mejia; his children, Mario R. Mejia, Suany A. Mejia, Walda I. Mejia, Helga M. Hernandez, Hugo A. Mejia Jr. and Karen J. Mejia; his children-in-law, James Foley and Janette Mejia; and his sibling Fidias Omar Mejia.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pomierski Funeral Home (1059 W 32nd St, Chicago, IL 60608). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church (1039 W 32nd St, Chicago, IL 60608). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park (9100 Archer Ave, Willow Springs, IL 60480).
