He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Tejeda and Maria; his son Joshua Andres Tejeda; and his siblings, Edith Tejeda and Marilu Tejeda.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Tejeda; his children, Christopher Ricardo Tejeda (Fanny Carolina), Yezenia P. Martinez (Victor) and Aisha Mercado (Julio); his grandchildren, Christopher Nathaniel Tejeda, Julian Alexio Tejeda, Jonath Zacaharias, Sean X. Pferschy, Cristiano Andres Tejeda, Xander X. Lymon, Layla Tiyanna Martinez, Samantha Martinez and Isabella A. Mercado; and his siblings, Efrem Tejeda (Letricia), Adrian Tejeda (Elsa), Noe Tejeda (Dora) and Yvonne Tejeda.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Andrew J. McGann Funeral Home (10727 S Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60655). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of the Universe Catholic Church (7114 S Hamlin Ave, Chicago, IL 60629).
