He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Magdalena Gruber; his children, Gabriele Bragagnolo (Bruno), Peter (Patricia) and Joseph (Laura); his grandchildren, Kevin (Tracy), Eric Bragagnolo (Katie), Theodore (Lauren), Kyle (Melissa), Rebecca Shabez (Jacob), Joseph, Courtney and Zander; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kimberly, Harper, Bradley, Henry, Gunner, Audrey, Dominic, Melinda and Miles; his siblings, Maryann Gawalek (late Eugene) and Daniel (Noreen); and his family James.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home (6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634). A prayer was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Ferdinand Catholic Church (5900 W Barry Ave, Chicago, IL 60634). A committal service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
