He is survived by: his son Elijah Peters of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Michael Peters (Sandra) of Naperville, IL, John Peters of Johns Island, SC, Susan Peters of Oak Lawn, IL and Steven Peters (Lisa) of Normal, IL.; his siblings' children, Michael, Joseph, Kyri, Natalie (Thomas) and Matthew; his great-nephew Charlie; and his friend Rogers Park.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tew-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
