He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Beata Feliciano (Jose) and Grace Mierwa (Michael Serrano); his grandchildren, Julian, Jayden, Gabriel, Nathaniel and Carter; his parents, Anna Mierwa and Władysław Mierwa; and his siblings, Maria Szczech (late Edward), Francziska Hyc (late Jan), Krystyna Mateja (Jan) and Bronisława Krupa (Jozef). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
