She was predeceased by: her husband Irwin "Sonny"; and her brothers, Martin Lubowich (Shirley), Arthur, Ralph (late Dorothy) and David Lubowich (late Olga).
She is survived by: her children, Arthur (Anita), Dr. Robert (Paula), Stephen (Sue) and Cindy Shapiro (David); and her grandchildren, Adam (Carolyn), Jason (Jaime), Ryan (Anne), Rick (Sophie), Jennifer Moran (James), Ansley Seguin (Matt), Kelly Roth (Jeff), Whitney (Justin Cunningham), Ben Shapiro (Mor), Ariel Pardo (Rabbi David), Rebecca Romero (Anthony) and Abigail Roth (Jacob).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
