He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Smith and Gladys Smith; and his brother Anthony Smith. He is survived by: his son Jefferi Smith, II; and his siblings, Yvonne Mulcahy, Denice Davis, Mirchelle Dee, Timothy Smith, Lee Smith (Lillian) and Tracy Smith. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
