He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Flanagan and Rosemary Flanagan; his brother Billy; his nephew Kevin; and his niece Emily.
He is survived by: his wife Angila P Mayfield Flanagan; his siblings, Charles Flanagan, Paul Flanagan (Bridget), Chris Flanagan (Kathy), Dan Flanagan (Jennifer), Anne Flanagan, Maureen Blau (Michael), Mary Alice Conser and Margaret Flanagan Hamilton (Scott); his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Caitlin, Sarah, Brian, Michael, Elizabeth, Julie, Chris, Meghan, John, Patrick, Will, Michael H., Katie and Matthew; his parents-in-law, Robert Mayfield, Bishop Robert D. Taylor Sr. and Missionary Effie Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Ricks (Travis), Crystal Settles (Tyrone), Helena Mayfield, Charlotte Innocent Onyiso (Uzoma), Latisha Mayfield, Robert Taylor (Christy), Derlwyn Taylor (Joy) and Eric Taylor (Shemika).
