We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025, at the age of 76, Josephine I. Ziomek of Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Josephine's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Hugh "Curly"; her children, Scott (Nancy) and Lisa Nelson; her grandchildren, Colin, Aidan, Emily, Grace and Charli; and her brother Ted Kowalski.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Homes of Chicago (6250 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Constance Church (5843 W Strong St, Chicago, IL 60630).
