He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Washington (McLaurin) and John Washington; his mother-in-law Mary Lee Hardy; and his brothers, Gary Griffith and John Washington Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Jamal Washington, Rhashad Washington and Kelli Washington; his grandchildren, Emori, Juni, Halli and Audri Washington; his wife Gloria Washington; his brother Shelby Griffith (Denise); his cousins, Diane and Jennifer Robinson; and his uncle Jerome McLaurin (Sue). He is also survived by three nephews, one niece, and a host of in-laws, extended family members, and friends.
