He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dena; his children, Elizabeth and Andrew Walsh; his parents, Daniel Walsh and Rita Jane Walsh; his siblings, Daniel (Therese), Matthew (Margaret) of John, CFD, Michael, Joseph and Mary Rita Riordan (John); his siblings' children, Ellie, Bobby (Claire), Megan, Matt (Anna), Mary Cate, Mary Therese, Madison, Maeve, Brendan (Megan), Mary Heather (Austin), Rita (Dave), Drew, Dan, Jack, Joey Walsh, Danny and John Riordan; his great-niece Janie Walsh; his parents-in-law, Steven Johnson (Mary) and Denise Sampson (Gervasi); his siblings-in-law, Steven Johnson (Angela), Joshua Johnson (Kodie) and Anna Sullivan (Travis); and his siblings' children, Connor Johnson, Kohl, Vaeda Johnson, Logan, Leo and Rhodes Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Church (10134 S Longwood Dr, Chicago, IL 60643). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
