He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Diebold and Laura Diebold; and his siblings, Oscar, Russell, James, Dorothy, Louise, Laura and Bessie.

He is survived by: his niece Terri Brauson of Minnesota.

Brother Konrad requested that memorials be directed to St. Patrick High School, The Christian Brothers Scholarship Fund that he and Brother David Galinski created to help fund the financial aid program at the school.
