He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow C. Lambert and Johnnie Mae Alexander Lambert; his brother Woodie Lambert; his daughter-in-law Narges Balouch-Lambert; and his parents-in-law, Ellie and Mildred Ward Wood.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Lambert, Jr. (late Narges), Donna L. Cothren (Lane) and Michael C. Lambert (Michelle); his grandchildren, Nicholas Lambert, Chayann Lambert, Clay Cothren, Jacob Lambert, Shelby C. Jenkins (Zach) and Matthew Lambert (Mia); his brother Billy Lambert; his uncle Alexander; and his aunt Helen W. Alexander. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Zion Baptist Church (409 Tyler Ave, Tylertown, MS 39667). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the New Zion Cemetery (2 New Zion Rd, Tylertown, MS 39667).
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Judes, Shriners Children's Hospital, Walthall Food Pantry, or your charity of choice.
