He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Berland; and his brother Ted Berland (Cynthia). He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marty" Berland; his children, Bob (Helen) and Lori Berland; his grandchildren, Taylor Dimke (Derek), Carlee Renda (Jeremy), Morgan Berland and Melissa Litwin (Val Saportas); and his great grandchildren, Addison Rose, Matias and Amelia.
