She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Dr. Carey Bacalar; her children, Dr. Steven Bacalar (Rachel), Scott Bacalar (Ana Debeljak), Dr. Alex Bacalar, Bubbe of Mira and Emmy Bacalar; her parents, Sonia Berk and Al Berk; her sisters, Zina Kovit (Jeff) and Sheila Small (Michael); and her siblings' children, Aliza, Rachel and Arielle. She was also cherished by her family and friends.
