Though Louis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Louis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Casarrubias and Lydia Casarrubias; and his wife Eileen Bengford. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Thomas, Patricia Cass, Jim Cass (Sharon), John Cass (Carol), Bob Cass (Mary), Christine Baumann (Bill) and Connie Gollhofer (Stan); and his sister Nelly Looten. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martins Catholic Church (400 Hanson Blvd, Odebolt, IA 51458). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the St. Martins Cemetery.
