She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Sparling and Irene Sparling (Murphy); her siblings, Ollie Lawson, Barbara Carolyn St. Clair and Al Sparling; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Diceston, Terry Faust, Ansel Lea, Lawrence Pyles, Walter Purkey and Margaret Pyles Wallace.
She is survived by: her husband William Lea (Vern); her children, Sheila Flora (Greg), Sam Lea (Margie), Jim Lea (Tina) and Teresa Lea; her grandchildren, Liz Shipley (Mo), Ryan Lea (Paula), Michael Flora (Jackie), Drew Flora, Molly Becraft (Chris), Chelsea Burch (Levi), Anna Lea (Steven), Pete Lea (Chloe) and Lisa Dickison (Jason); her sisters, Sharon Diceston and Beverley Faust; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Sparling, Edna Lea, Judy Purkey, Jerry St. Clair and Nathan Benscoter. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center (3400 S Webster St, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Chicago.
