With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria K. Brama (Chicago, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrij Kiforuk and Ewdokia Kiforuk (Serhijchuk); and her sibling Olena Mykytejchuk (Ivan). She is survived by: her daughters, Irene Bodnar (Stephen), Christine Brama, Adriana Brama and Lesia Zytniak (Walt); her grandchildren, Arielle Fox (Liam), Ryan Macaulay, Michelle Zytniak, Andrew Brama and Ryan Young; and her great grandchildren, Evie Zytniak and Avery Fox.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Cathedral School, 2200 W. Rice Street; Chicago, IL 60622 and/or Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church, 739 N. Oakley Boulevard; Chicago, IL 60612 .
