She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas J. Galvin; and her sister Carolyn Porteus. She is survived by: her daughter Siobhan Wee (late Don) of Evanston, IL; her grandson Thomas Wee of Brooklyn, NY.; her sibling's children, Richard Porteus Jr., Karen Kidder and Susan Nedelman; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, George, Emma Porteus, Marissa, Jameson Kidder, Lucy and Sophia Nedelman.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marie's memory can be made to the Thomas J. Galvin Endowed Scholarship Fund, Simmons University, 300.
