He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jahnke and Lorraine Jahnke; and his brother Glenn Jahnke. He is survived by: his siblings, Neal Jahnke (Frances), Lynn Jahnke, David Jahnke (late Susan) and Susan Jahnke; his siblings' children, Sara Balmes-Flores (Tom), Eric Jahnke (Jamie), Erin Greenwald (Matt), Paul Snyder (Diana Escobar), Alex Jahnke, Greg Mitchell (Lauren), Maureen Davenport (Kyle), Austin Mitchell (Ashley), Keri Clemons, Bobby Clemons and Crystal Tomec (Joe); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joseph, Mila, Declan, Finley, Lorelei, AnnDee, MaryJo, Mitchell and Astrid. He is also survived by his family, especially his nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home (120 W Park Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Ascension Cemetery (1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
